Each week a new set of Reading Comprehension, Writing, Quantitative Reasoning and Abstract Reasoning will appear.  Read the instructions carefully as there are some variations each week.

The GATE Resources are designed to supplement GATE preparation that students are undertaking, but can also be used as practise questions on their own.  They should be seen as a supplementary activity and as such can only be completed once, not multiple times until all the right answers are reached.  In this Resource set you will have the following:

Reading Comprehension – The text is below each of the questions.  This enables students to check the text and find proof for each of their answers.
Writing Task – The writing will need to be completed on lined paper and either emailed to [email protected] or taken to your tutor to be marked.
Quantitative Reasoning – The information needed for the question set will be below the questions.  This will give vital information to be able to answer the questions.  Some weeks the time limit will be longer as the questions are designed to develop you ability to look for infomration rather than work at speed.  Also look to see if you need to read a lesson before starting the quiz.
Abstract Reasoning – The focus for each week will be different, to develop your skills in the various areas of Abstract Reasoning.  Read the instructions each week to know what area of Abstract Reasoning you are focussing on.

Read the instructions for each section as they do help you to complete the questions.  Once you finish each set of questions you can read the explanations for each question to understand which was the correct answer.
